About Us

Ban Ngai started out as Ban Ngai Engineering Works in 1965. Operating out of a small shophouse in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia, the company served as a machine shop making screws, shafts and other spare parts for the surrounding factories. The founder's dedication to quality and his customers soon saw the business expanding rapidly. Today, the Ban Ngai Group of Companies consist of:

Operations in Malaysia
We are headquartered on a 3 acre industrial site in Klang, Selangor , Malaysia , approximately 10km away from Port Klang and 40km from Kuala Lumpur, with approximately 100,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehousing space and 20,000 square feet of office and showroom space. Our manufacturing, central warehousing and office operations are based at this location while we have two branch offices and warehouses at the North (Penang) and South (Johor) of Malaysia.

Operations in Thailand
Our Thai headquarters lie in the heart of Samutprakarn, approximately 20km from Bangkok where it has been since our establishment in Thailand in 2007. Today, we have four warehouses and three offices in Samutprakarn, Ayutthaya and Chonburi to better serve our customers in Thailand.

Operations in Indonesia
Our Indonesian operations are based at Kapuk Kamal, North Jakarta, with a full, predominantly local team handling warehousing, import, sales and servicing for our valuable Indonesian clientele, a market that we have been servicing for more than ten years from our Malaysian base prior to local presence here.

Our team serves more than 5000 customers, from SME's (Small Medium Enterprises) right up to the largest global corporates from Malaysia to Europe.
